Our Patrons

In Kind Direct is a UK registered charity and our patrons' generosity as supporters is absolutely core to what we do. Without their support, much of our work simply would not be possible.

Get to know our Board

Graham Inglis
Graham joined DHL in 1994 and has held a number of senior international leadership positions within the Group. Before retiring in Spring 2017, Graham was Chief Development Officer, DHL Supply Chain, for 3 years, responsible globally for all Sales, Account Management and Product Development activity, driving the M&A agenda for DHL Supply Chain and managing the global Service Logistics and Life Science & Healthcare businesses. Graham is also a Non-Executive Director of OneMed, a medical supplies distributor headquartered in Sweden, and a Trustee of Transaid, a charity whose aim is to improve livelihoods in the developing world through creating better transport arrangements.

Barry Furlong
Barry Furlong has over two decades of commercial & marketing experience across multiple customer segments, geographies and industries. He is currently the Vice President & GM, Prime Video Europe at Amazon. Prior to joining Amazon in 2013, Barry was instrumental in delivering strategic marketing and digital retailing initiatives at Vodafone Group and Dell Inc. Barry has a passion for driving innovation, customer engagement and profitable growth powered by a combination of strategy, creativity, rich analytics and technology.

Martin Newman
Martin is a customer experience champion with extensive knowledge of the European, US and Asia Pacific markets, and author of 100 Practical Ways to Improve Customer Experience. Martin has headed up the multichannel operations of Burberry, Intersport, Speedo, Berghaus, Harrods and Ted Baker. He founded global ecommerce and digital consultancy Practicology, which he successfully built across the UK, EU, Middle East and Asia. He has since started a new venture The Customer First Group. Martin is a Non-Executive Director, Chairman and Board Advisor working with boards of consumer-facing businesses on their key strategies and is a member of the KPMG IPSOS Retail Think Tank.

Richard Wolff
Richard Wolff co-founded Javelin Group in 1997 and was its Chief Operating Officer and ran its Strategy Consulting practice until 2018 when he became Javelin Group's CEO.  He is also joint leader of Accenture’s UK & Ireland Retail Strategy business and Head of Europe Retail Strategy.  He has advised many retailers, brands, consumer goods companies and B2Bs on how to transform their digital, omni-channel and ecommerce business. He previously worked at GUS, the leading UK catalogue retailer and is non-executive director at a start-up AIPatient.

Richard Wolff

Teresa Tideman - Chair of the Board of Trustees

Teresa is actively involved in a number of charities in the UK and has been a Trustee of In Kind Direct since 2010 and Chair since 2017.

Teresa is a Senior Associate of Quarto Advisors, an international retail consultancy. Teresa was formerly CEO of Style Group brands, one of the leading British Fashion Houses. Prior to that she held a number of senior roles at the Walt Disney Company including Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Consumer Products Division for EMEA. Teresa spent time working in Australia as Fashion Director for David Jones Ltd and is also a former Executive of Arcadia.

Ajay Kavan - Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees

Ajay's portfolio focuses on ecommerce and digital transformations and includes roles as Senior advisor to KKR, Piper Equity and other digital advisory and board roles.  He has deep ecommerce experience in both pure plays and multi-channel retailers. He was an Amazon Vice President for 9 years scaling multiple categories and held global roles including launching Amazon Fresh in Europe/Asia.  As CEO of Matches Fashion, he helped stabilise the business during the challenging period of COVID and Brexit.  Prior to his pure play roles, he launched 3 ecommerce businesses within multichannel retailers and was a director within Kingfisher and Home Retail Group.

Tom Moody

Tom Moody is Vice President & Managing Director at P&G Northern Europe. Tom spent the first 4 years of his working life for P&G in the UK in a variety of sales and commercial roles. The second phase of his career was spent in Geneva, where he had spells in both Sales and Marketing, including as European Brand Manager for Always.

He returned to the UK in 2004, where he ran P&G’s Beauty business and was responsible for integrating the Oral B business in the UK following the Gillette acquisition. He moved back into sales in 2008, as Commercial Director for P&G’s Tesco account before taking on overall responsibility for the company’s total UK Sales Operations as Sales Director, UK & Ireland in 2012.

In 2013, Tom was promoted to General Manager, Sales, P&G Northern Europe before, in 2015, being appointed Vice President & Managing Director for P&G in Northern Europe. He is now responsible for P&G’s total business operations in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

Graham Burridge

Graham was named Managing Director, Disney Store Europe, in March 2013 responsible for driving Disney Store’s European multi-channel business. Disney Store Europe currently operates Stores throughout the UK & Ireland, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Denmark and Belgium in addition to online Stores in UK and six other markets.

Graham joined the Walt Disney Company in 2002 as Finance Controller for Toys. He joined Disney Store Europe in 2006 as Vice President of Finance, IT and Online. Before joining Disney, Graham held senior Finance roles at Scoot.com and Apple. Graham has been a long-time supporter of Disney’s partnership with In Kind Direct, which dates back to 1997.

Debra Allcock Tyler

Debra has been the Chief Executive of the Directory of Social Change (DSC) since 2001. DSC has a vision of an independent voluntary sector at the heart of social change. She is Founder Chair and Trustee of the Small Charities Coalition and a member of the Charity Commission’s SORP Committee. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce (FRSA). She is a member of the Royal Institution and Liberty.

Tim Hinton

Tim joined Santander UK in July 2018 as Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking.  He is responsible for all aspects of the Bank’s broad range of services to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Mid Market companies across the UK. Prior to this, Tim was Managing Director, Mid Markets and SME Banking at Lloyds Banking Group from 2013-17 and he was also responsible for Inclusion and Diversity within the Commercial Banking division.  Before this, he gained extensive global experience at Standard Chartered from 1986-2013 and held a number of senior leadership roles in Corporate, Commercial and Retail Banking across Asia, the UK and the Middle East.

Scott Barton
Prior to joining Lloyds, Scott was Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking, Europe for Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), who he joined in 2013. At SCB, Scott was responsible for wholesale banking across six countries, and was Chairman of SCB Turkey and a member of the global CIB management team. Prior to SCB, Scott spent 20 years at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), where he was a member of the Group Management Committee, and Co-CEO International Banking. Prior to RBS, Scott worked for Accenture who he joined straight from university. Scott holds a First in Management Sciences from Loughborough University, an MBA from CASS Business School and a DipM from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Scott lives with his wife and two sons, is an avid cyclist and enjoys all sports.

Rosanne Gray
Rosanne Gray is our new Chief Executive. For the past eighteen years she has worked in a variety of organisations from large corporations such as Shell, entrepreneurial start-ups to foundations focused on developing solutions to social and environmental problems. From founding CottonConnect, a global business transforming the world’s cotton supply chains, leading the Virgin Foundation (Virgin Unite) for one of the world’s best known entrepreneurs to most recently running a tech start-up that empowers small companies to get online, she has harnessed the power of business to transform people’s lives. When not at work Rosanne can most often be found swimming in the lochs of Scotland, finding a hill to climb or returning to Southern Africa which is her second home.
