The In Kind Direct team regularly post blogs of our own, and in partnership with other sector partners. Here’s two you might have missed:

Charlotte, our Head of Charity Partnerships, shares top 4 tips for getting feedback with the Directory of Social Change (DSC).

Paul, our Marketing Manager, demonstrates the collective value of product giving for our whole network.

Disney's #GiftMagic Christmas

We were delighted to work with The Disney Store for the fifth year with their Disney Gift Magic Christmas campaign. 6,000 Mickey Mouse soft toys were distributed to some very happy recipients across the UK, all the way from Redruth to Aberdeen!

Our Mickeys have been shared at Christmas parties, in hospital wards, Foodbanks and hampers for those in need – and it’s been wonderful to see all your feedback. Here are a few festive throwback pictures!

Throwaway January Campaign

January is the biggest month for surplus product which gives us a great opportunity to engage with new product donors. We have launched #ThrowawayJanuary, based on 4,001 consumers’ opinions of product giving, waste and sustainability. Our findings show people really care how businesses operate, with 52% stating they would be disappointed if surplus stock was not given to charities.

We’ve secured some great coverage so far, and send special thanks to Young Barnet Foundation and Bee Wirral for their support with the campaign.
