For even more inspiration here are some fundraising tips from past marathon runners.
If you are still struggling for fundraising ideas, then please get in touch and we will work with you to help you reach your target.
What happens if I don’t reach the fundraising target?
We set a fundraising target to cover the costs of the event place and the admin costs associated, and help you deliver our service to our charity network of local grassroots organisations across the UK.
If you are worried that you will not reach your fundraising target please let us know as soon as possible and we will be happy to give you our full support and get you to that finish line!
What happens if I can no longer take part?
We are very sorry to hear that you can no longer take part in the 2021 London Marathon. Please get in touch with us at info@inkinddirect.org or call us on 0300 30 20 200.
How do I pay in my fundraised money?
Bank transfer or via our Just Giving page.
What will the money be used for?
The money you raise will contribute towards our vital work, ensuring that everyone has access to life’s essential items. Your money will ensure that we can secure more products and distribute them to our charity network across the UK. In 2020, we were a lifeline service reaching over 174,000 people, with £26 million worth of essential items such as toilet roll, hand wash and PPE. Because of the leverage effects we generate with donated product, every £1 donated will lead to at least £9 in value of products distributed, meaning the money you raise will go even further.
