Crisis at Christmas and In Kind Direct
A special product donation appeal
On any one night last winter, more than 4,100 people slept rough across England. Rough sleeping has almost doubled in the last 5 years. This is not inevitable. Together, we will end homelessness - for good.
Every year, vital help from donors enables Crisis at Christmas to bring warmth, companionship and essential services to over 4,700 homeless people across the UK. In Kind Direct works with over 300 housing and homelessness support organisations across the country, to help ensure they have the products needed to deliver their important work.
Working together this winter
This year, Crisis at Christmas and In Kind Direct are working together to source the products needed to help thousands of homeless people rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind for good.
This Christmas, Crisis will once again set up centres across the UK where more than 10,000 volunteers will prepare over 38,000 meals, including a full Christmas dinner. Crisis will provide over 20 services encompassing healthcare, well-being, sport, entertainment, and specialist advice.
At the same time, In Kind Direct will be working hard to support local charities across the UK, so that no-one goes without life essentials at a particularly challenging time of year.
